Canna Cleopatra

Cleopatra, correctly known as Yellow King Humbert, has become known over the years as the more aptly named Cleopatra. It is a very unusual plant indeed. Every year you can expect something different as it just can’t seem to make up its mind which colour to make its flowers or leaves. Some flowers come up yellow’, others red; some yellow and half red; some with stripes and others with spots. To a lesser extent the leaves behave oddly as well. Some leaves unfurl half-purple, half-green, all purple or just a wave or stripe within the green. It grows around 1.7 metres. This is the genuine original Cleopatra. There are a few seed grown variants being sold elsewhere
