WELCOME TO OUR CANNA LILY SITE
We have been developing our Canna lily collection for over 20 years and have over 100 varieties now mostly available by mail order. They consist of tall, medium and dwarf sizes in single or bicolours. We are based in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia.
Please note we are unable to send to Tasmania, Western Australia or internationally due to quarantine restrictions. All other Australian states are no problem and your total order will be posted for a fixed postage price of $14.95.

- What to expect
Cannas grow from fleshy rhizomes, not bulbs as many people think. Each variety of canna will have a different rhizome shape and size. Some grow as clusters, some as thick fleshy tubers and others in separated groups of nodes. Our plants are supplied as a generous-sized bare-root rhizome clone/division of the exact plant or plants you order, with 2 to 6 growth nodes (depending on the variety chosen). We dig a majority of the crop during late autumn and winter and while doing so grade out the smaller rhizomes for replanting in spring for the following season. This way your order will always have premium-sized rhizomes. Our cannas are dug fresh, then packaged slightly damp with plenty of roots in sealed bags. Each bag will be named with the variety in it. Stem and leaf are cut back, leaving mostly rhizome with growth nodes. Once planted in moist soil, these nodes begin to shoot leaf and develop stem. Ordering and Payment
Our cannas will be available for delivery from May 2020, when our growing season has finished.
Orders are taken on this site at any time of the year. If you have ordered and paid for cannas prior to May they have been reserved for you so you are guaranteed those varieties even if they sell out.
Our shopping process is pretty much the same as most online shopping – view the product, choose how many you require, add to cart, view cart contents, click the checkout button and fill in your details. There is no need to start an account. If you have any problems at all just contact us and we will try and help.
Once you have completed shopping and filled out your details in the shopping cart and check out, you will then be directed to the Paypal website where payments can be made with either your credit/debit card or your Paypal account. You will receive a confirmation email from us when the transaction goes through.
We do not and will never use any of your data for any purpose other than completing an order with us. This site uses Paypal to process financial transactions. Paypal has rigid online security standards and procedures. Your personal credit card information is not recorded or stored on this website at any time. All financial information is securely captured and processed by Paypal in compliance with Visa, MasterCard, and American Express regulations.
Postage and Delivery
- There is a fixed postage for all orders of $14.95, large or small.
- Unfortunately, we are unable to send to Tasmania or Western Australia due to those states having strict quarantine regulations for importing plants.
We use Australia post as our carrier and find them very reliable. We are in Oakbank in the Adelaide Hills, a rural area close to Adelaide. Plants are posted in an Adelaide metro area post office so deliveries are quick. We post plants every Friday to ensure delivery early in the working week. Post from here is in transit over the weekend and many deliveries are on the Monday or Tuesday with rural areas sometimes a day or two longer depending on location which gives you flexibility to collect at your post office if needed.
